Wheel Of Fortune Makes Up For White Sox Snub
Chicago White Sox fans will feel loved after seeing an answer to a Thursday night Wheel of Fortune puzzle.

CHICAGO, IL — Fans of the Chicago White Sox often complaint about national media outlets that leave them out when it comes to talk of the Chicago sports scene. The team has been snubbed by ESPN numerous times, and even Wheel of Fortune left them out of a puzzle that had a Chicago sports theme earlier this year.
But the latter did more than enough to make up for that snub in the show that aired Thursday night. "Chicago White Sox Fans" was the answer to a puzzle with the common clue of "People."
The three college students who were contestants needed nearly all the letters to get it right, with a young man wearing a Cal Poly sweatshirt finally answering the puzzle correctly.

Commercials on ABC-7 Chicago earlier in the day promoted Wheel of Fortune's plans to "make it up" to the White Sox, as show host Pat Sajak put it.
It was in early February when the show included the answer "Blackhawks - Cubs - Bulls - Bears" in a category titled "Chicago."

Sajak didn't say anything on the show Thursday night about the answer being a "make up call" of sorts to White Sox fans. Perhaps some watching nationally weren't wondering about it at all.
