Young Sisters Found Alone On South Side Street, Parents Sought

Chicago police are seeking information on the parents of two young sisters who were found alone in the street on the South Side late Sunday.

CHICAGO — Chicago police are looking for the parents of two young girls who were found along in the street late Sunday evening. The girls were taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where they are listed in good condition

Around 10:30 p.m., officers noticed the sisters outside alone in the 1700 block of East 72nd Street. Police have contacted the Department of Children and Family Services.

Kamariya is 5-years old. She stands 3-feet-6-inches tall and weighs 48 pounds. Her younger sister, Chantel, 1, is 2-feet tall and weighs 22 pounds. Both girls have medium complexions, and have brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone who can help identify the children is asked to call Area One Detectives at 312-747-8380 or call 911.
