Strip Club Evacuation: 2 Officers, 4 Guests Sent To Hospital

Six people including two Brooklyn Police Department officers were sent to the hospital early Friday morning after being inside club.

BROOKLYN, IL — The Brooklyn Police Department and other law enforcement officials are investigating after they say a hazmat situation inside a Metro East strip club sent six people to the hospital early Friday morning. KSDK reported two BPD officers responded to Roxy's Night Club at 210 Madison Street, where four patrons inside the building were found unconscious and taken to the hospital. According to the news report, the two officers were also taken to the hospital.

At least ten other people were evacuated from the building, according to police, who add the cause of the evacuation hasn't been determined.

Illinois State Police are also investigating.
