350 Brewing Company Set to Open Wednesday

You may have already sampled some of their goods—but now step inside for a true 350 experience.

Beer fans, rejoice! A long-anticipated local suds spot is ready to pour its first pint. Owners Erik Pizer and Todd Randall Monday proudly announced the mid-week debut of 350 Brewing Company in Tinley Park.

The pair will swing open the doors at 7144 W. 183rd St. to the public at noon Wednesday. The latest addition to a blossoming craft brewery scene in the Southland, 350 is the culmination of three years of inspiration, frustration, —and just plain hard work, Randall said.

“There’s a lot that goes into opening a brewery,” Randall said. “It was well worth it. It looks exactly like we wanted it to.”

The beer doesn’t get much more local than the handcrafted brews at 350.

“The brewery is 10 feet from you—we measured it,” Randall said. “Ten feet from where you drink it, that’s where it’s made.”

The location might have yet to open, but the brand’s reputation precedes it. Heard of “Crook County IPA?” That’s these guys. Their beers have appeared in local bars on contract basis, and the pair took home the prize of “Best Brewer” at the Brew & Vine Festival hosted by the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce in April.

“A lot of people are waiting for us, anticipating it just as much as we are,” Randall said. Both quit their jobs three months ago, to dive into the brewery business full-time.

At the time of opening, the tasting room will serve only 350’s beers on taps. Customers can buy a sample flight, or beers by the pint. Love what you taste? Sign up for the growler club. They’ll also serve appetizers.

Nine beers will be offered at the time of opening, including Dropout, Kick the Can Cream Ale, El Scorcho, Heavy Metal Garbage Man, and Crook County IPA, to name a few. Get a small sample of any beer for $2.

Hours are Monday through Thursday, noon to 10 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, noon to midnight; Sunday, noon to 8 p.m. Cash only to start.

“Three years ago, we started on the idea,” Randall said of 350’s beginnings. “We bounced around a couple different places in Tinley Park. We originally wanted to be in downtown Tinley. Things like that slowed us down.

“But we just kept on fighting through it.”
