4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Near Tinley Park

TINLEY PARK, IL — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in Tinley Park:

July 4 Festivities

What: Multiple events will take place during the Tinley Park-Park District’s Annual 4th of July Celebration Day of Events.

Where:

• McCarthy Park, 16801 S. 80th Avenue — 6 p.m. for opening ceremony, followed by the music of Libido Funk Circus, then the evening will wrap with Fireworks.
• Tinley Junction Mini-Golf and Batting Cages — 16801 S. 80th Ave. — will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Stars and Stripes 5K race will begin at 8 a.m. at McCarthy Park.

When: On July 4, the annual event will be held. Tinley Park has been hosting this free event for over 40 years, as a community celebration.
