TINLEY PARK, IL — Those in the south suburbs may soon have a new spot for some barbecue. Bandana's BBQ, a Missouri-based chain with locations in Illinois, Iowa and Indiana, recently bought the storefront in Tinley Park that was most recently home to Archie's Dugout Bar & Grill.

The 4,245 square-foot space at 16200 S. Harlem Ave. was sold by Sundance Development to Bandana's BBQ, according to a report on REjournals.com. Lee & Associates brokered the sale, the report states.

"This is the first entry by this 29-unit St. Louis-based chain into metro Chicago," Rick Scardino, principal of Lee & Associates' Illinois office, said. "A collaboration of efforts by the village of Tinley Park and the seller will create a nice launching pad for possible future locations in metro Chicago."
