By law, an Illinois budget for fiscal year 2016 should have been passed by July 1, 2015. Thousands of Illinoisans and organizations have been terribly affected by the budget crisis, and that number continues to grow every day.
We’ve created an interactive map of all those who have been hurt by the state’s budget impasse. Click on each map marker to learn more. Note that we will be updating this map regularly with new stories as they become available.
