Enter at Your Own Risk: The Most Haunted Places and Cemeteries in Illinois

It’s time to start celebrating Halloween. But for some, handing out candy to little trick-or-treaters dressed up in cute costumes doesn’t offer the same type of thrill that, say, going to an allegedly haunted place would have.

Luckily for those interested in the paranormal, Illinois has plenty of sites that register high electromagnetic field ratings, not to mention reports of other supposedly strange and inexplicable occurrences.

To celebrate the day of ghosts, ghouls and the undead, we’ve brought back some of our spookiest lists, including the Top 50 most haunted places in Illinois as well as the Top 25 most haunted cemeteries -- just make sure you’re not trespassing if you decide to check them out.
