Fire Engulfs Tinley Garage, Car Parked in Driveway
The fire started around 5 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 11.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Little remains of a Tinley Park garage and a car parked in the driveway after fire consumed the structure and the auto early Sunday morning.
The fire broke out just after 5 a.m. in the 17000 block of New England Avenue. The garage was destroyed and the car in the driveway reduced to its frame. No one was injured, Fire Chief Dan Riordan said on the scene.
A nearby garage was also damaged by the heat.
