Forest Reeder Sr., WWII Hero And Dad Of Tinley Fire Chief, 93

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Services have been set for Forest F. Reeder Sr., a U.S. Army World War II veteran and father of Tinley Park Fire Chief Forest Reeder Jr. who died at age 93. A visitation will run from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3 at the Kerry Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center at 7020 W. 127th St. in Palos Heights. There will be a lying in state at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4 until the services begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd at 7800 W. McCarthy Road in Palos Heights.

Reeder was active in the Palos community and was the owner of Reeder Heating & Air Conditioning in Chicago.

The Kerry Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
