Fry The Coop Is 'Flocking' Opening On Tuesday In Tinley Park
The first 250 customers that purchase a meal will receive an exclusive Fry The Coop t-shirt.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Fry The Coop, the popular Nashville-style hot chicken restaurant is opening for drive-thru only on Tuesday, March 9, here in Tinley Park. The first 250 customers that purchase a meal will receive an exclusive, one-of-a-kind Fry The Coop t-shirt with their order, according to the business.
The location initially announced it was flocking to town in November 2020. Tinley Park marks the Chicagoland award-winning chicken joint's fifth location, at the former Fajitas Mexican Restaurant, located at 16703 S. Harlem Ave. The 2,800 square-foot space has 62 seats with a full drive-thru window, which is the point of distribution that will be open for a period of time.
The release states that Fry The Coop is often compared to the famous Hattie B’s in Nashville. Fry the Coop said it has mastered the flavors, heat and texture of the southern favorite.

“We’ve had a lot of demand for another south suburban location,” said owner Joe Fontana. “Our Oak Lawn restaurant has so many loyal customers that come from the far southwest suburbs, like Tinley Park and Orland Park, and we’re really excited to finally make Fry the Coop more accessible to them.”
The Tinley Park location is the second Fry the Coop restaurant to have drive-thru functionality, according to the release. All Fry the Coop locations are only serving via drive-thru (where available), takeout and delivery orders, until the state reaches reopening on a full-scale level, the release states.

The fast-casual eatery will continue to "bring the heat" with its simple menu. According to Fontana, each piece of made-to-order chicken is juicy, flavorful and spiced to perfection.
Fry the Coop Tinley Park hours will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with lunch coming soon, the release states.
The chicken hot spot opened in November 2017 in Oak Lawn, expanding to other locations such as Elmhurst, Chicago-West Town and Prospect Heights. For more information check out Fry The Coop's website or call your preferred location.
