Go the Distance for St. Coletta's: Register for a 5K Run/1K Walk
Registration is open now and is the perfect activity for those who like to run, walk, or just be outdoors!

Tinley Park, IL: St. Coletta’s of Illinois would like to invite the community to register for the Digital Dash, a virtual 5K Run/1K walk that will take place June 6th-June 14th. The Digital Dash is open to anyone who likes to run, walk, or just be outdoors! Proceeds from the Digital Dash will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Instead of competing in a group on a set course, the Digital Dash allows participants to compete virtually anywhere they choose. Dashers can complete their distance on a treadmill, a family run around the block, or even by taking your dog for a long walk! Each dash registration includes a digital bib download and the opportunity to submit your time.
“As most activities and races have been canceled, we wanted to give runners the chance compete in a race, while also providing something fun for the whole family,” states Carrie Seida, Director of Development. “With summer almost here, this is a perfect opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the beautiful weather, and maybe bring about some friendly competition in the process. With each step a Dasher takes, it also brings support and awareness to St. Coletta’s program participants.”
