IHSA Reveals Football Schedules: See Who Andrew, Tinley Park Face

TINLEY PARK, IL — Are you ready for some football? With contact days beginning Sunday for Illinois High School Association schools, it's fitting that this fall's football schedule has been announced. Expect things to look a little different under the Friday night lights as schools and spectators adjust to the many challenges COVID-19 will surely present to competitive sports.

50 Players, Limited Spectators Allowed In IHSA Stage 2

The Victor J. Andrew High School Thunderbolts open up play at home against Maple Park (Kaneland) High School on Aug. 28. Other highlights include: at Oak Forest (Spet. 4), vs. Bradley-Bourbonnais (Oct. 2) and at Lockport (Oct. 16).

The Thunderbolts are coached by Adam Lewandowski.

• Sept. 4 at Oak Forest 7 p.m.
• Sept. 11 vs. Homewood-Flossmoor 7 p.m.
• Sept. 18 vs. Lincoln-Way West 7 p.m.
• Sept. 25 at Stagg 7 p.m.
• Oct. 2 vs. Bradley-Bourbonnais 7:30 p.m.
• Oct. 9 at Lincoln-Way Central 7:30 p.m.
• Oct. 16 at Lockport 7 p.m.
• Oct. 23 vs. Bolingbrook 7 p.m.

The Tinley Park High School Titans open play at Chicago (Payton) on Aug. 29. Other highlights include three games against other Consolidated High School District 228 schools: Sept. 25 vs. Hillcrest, Oct. 16 at Oak Forest and Oct. 23 at Bremen.

The Titans are coached by Josh O'Shea.
