Illinois Among Top 10 States Where You're Most Likely to Catch an STD

The Prairie State is one of only two northern states to make RoadSnacks’ Top 10 list of states where you’re most likely to catch a sexually transmitted disease.

Roadsnacks looked at which states have the highest rates of common STD infections compared to population, and compiled data from the Centers for Disease Control on three of the most common STDs: chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis.

Here are the 10 states in which you’re most likely to catch an STD, as well as each state's individual rankings for the prevalence of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis.
