TINLEY PARK, IL — Kirby School District 140 school board candidates who ran in the April 6 Consolidated Election have finally learned their results. After weeks of waiting, the community has elected all four members of the All-4-KSD140 slate.

The quartet included incumbents Carol DeMicheal and Tom Martelli, along with newcomers Luciana Shalash and Aileen Mullee. The slate was endorsed by the Kirby Education Association, former Tinley Park Mayor Ed Zabrocki, mayor-elect Micheal Glotz and more.

A total of six candidates were in the running, but Kevin McKeown, along with Meagan Doornbos, who ran as a write-in, were not elected. The results of the D140 school board race took longer to appear, as the county needed to total up write-in votes.
