Letter To Editor: 'Your Kindness Will Never Be Forgotten'

Crisis Center for South Suburbia's Executive Director Pam Kostecki thanks those who have supported the center during the COVID-19 pandemic.

TINLEY PARK, IL — The following is a letter to the editor submission from the Crisis Center for South Suburbia's Executive Director, Pam Kostecki:

Dear Editor,

As our world works to return to “normal,” I am reminded - every day - that the Crisis Center would never have survived the past 14 months without the incredible generosity and support of the community around us. While many agencies were forced to close, our doors remained open to victims of domestic violence throughout the pandemic because people in our community donated everything from money to food, and cleaning supplies to household basics.

Today, as a result of this unwavering support, we remain financially strong and stable. Most days our shelter operates at capacity and because of you, we are still here to provide safety and hope.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, and the many victims you helped with emergency shelter, housing, counseling, and more, I thank you. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
