Masked Men Rob Sauk Village Bank at Gunpoint
The men brandished handguns during the robbery Thursday afternoon in Sauk Village.
SAUK VILLAGE, IL — Police are looking for two men who flashed hand guns and took over a ban in Sauk Village Thursday afternoon.
The "takeover robbery" occurred just after 2 p.m. at US Bank, 2600 E. Sauk Trail. Surveillance footage shoes two masked men, one in a "joker mask," committing the act.
They demanded cash from the tellers and hopped over the counters to take cash from the drawers, Chicago Sun-Times reports. They then drove away southbound on Torrence Avenue in a silver Chevy Impala that was waiting for them. The vehicle was later found burned out on a side street in Dyer, Indiana, police said.

The suspects are described as two black males, one approximately 6 feet tall, of thin build, approximately 20-29 in age, wearing a "joker" mask and an Oakland Raiders hat. The second is a black male, approximately 5-foot-10, approximately 20-29 in age, wearing a black mask.
