TINLEY PARK, IL — The pop-up retail Mask and More Outlet stores announced that it is going to close all three outlets in the south suburbs. The retail stores are a division of online retailer, PulseTV.

The first pop-up shop opened in Orland Park in August 2020. Shortly after, Tinley Park and Frankfort locations followed.

“Our PulseTV retail division Masks and More Outlet stores always was designed to be a short term response to the pandemic," CEO Jaffer Ali said. "We opened the stores as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic with the full knowledge we would close once the pandemic subsided and we no longer needed to serve the community. We worked with landlords of our three stores for short term, month to month leases, and they have been great during this time.”

The first store to close was the Orland Park location — 14215 S. LaGrange Road — on May 24. Tinley Park and Frankfort locations are scheduled to close June 30. Everything is marked down for the closings, including fixtures.

“Our main business is selling merchandise online," Ali said. "Working with local communities surrounding our main warehouse in Tinley Park was a tremendous experience. We were glad we could serve these communities, so they could get PPE when they needed it most. We served over 15,000 customers since we opened, and it was time to move on.”
