No Charges in Alleged Child-Luring Incident
Tinley Park Police said there was not enough evidence to warrant criminal charges.

TINLEY PARK, IL — A man who allegedly tried to convince a 17-year-old girl to get into his vehicle earlier this month turned himself in to Tinley Park police after he saw a photo of his car in the news.
The girl told police the man pulled up to her in the Subway parking lot in the the 17200 block of Oak Park Avenue and, after asking if she needed a ride, said she looked like she could use company. The man then left the lot and traveled northbound on Oak Park Avenue once he realized she was trying to get his license plate information.
Tinley Park police determined there was not enough evidence to warrant criminal charges, and that the man posed no threat to the community.
