Obituary: Theresa Marie Sorensen

TINLEY PARK, IL —Theresa Marie Sorensen, 63, passed away Oct. 21, 2020 in Saint John, Indiana.

Born May 16, 1957, in Evergreen Park at Little Company of Mary Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Allan and Marie (Radech) Sorensen. Theresa was the only daughter of seven children.

Theresa was a graduate of Tinley Park High School. Her favorite things included listening to music and attending concerts. She loved the Beatles and the Eagles. Theresa's most important things to her included her family, babies, beaches, traveling, and her plants. She was an avid dog lover and adored her dogs, Augie, Keisha, and Cookie. Theresa was a beautiful woman who loved dressing fashionably, doing her hair and makeup, and wearing fashionable jewelry. In her spare time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, and the holidays, especially Christmas. Theresa's friends will remember her calls, texts, and long chats. She often donated to Wounded Warriors, a cause for which she felt strongly.

She is survived by her three brothers, Robert (Jane) Sorensen, Richard Sorensen, Paul (Crystal) Sorensen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Theresa is preceded in death by her brothers, Allan Sorensen, George Sorensen, Thomas Sorensen, and nephew, Robert Sorensen.
