"The One Less to Help One More team needs your help, in the form of plants," the organization said in a statement. "If this is the first you are hearing of us, don’t fret. We are a band of super cool and hip people (in our own estimation) who really dig — see what we did there?"
"This month’s challenge comes in the form of a perennial sale. How exciting is that?" the non-profit said.

If you want to get involved, here is what the organization needs you to do:
- Donate Perennials (flowers, mint etc.)
- Email onelesstohelponemore@gmail.com to let the organization know what you’re dropping off.
- Drop off your perennials on Friday, May 7, to the Outdoor Learning Center at Andrew High School located at 9001 171st St., Orland Hills. Bring as many or as few as you would like to donate, no amount to big or too small.
- Come to the sale on Saturday, May 8, from 9-12pm. There will be raffle prizes and an admission of just $5 gets you two plants of your choice. Come early so that you have the most choices.
"That is it," the organization said. "This could not be any easier AND this is the day before Mother’s Day so you can even get your gift giving done early instead of frantically running to Jewel for flowers Sunday morning."
The creation of the organization came about to bring monthly challenges for people in the community to give back and contribute it forward. To learn more about the non-profit organization and to get involved in their challenges, visit their Facebook Page.
