Pellet Gun-Carrying Boy Apprehended At Sutter Playground: Village
Charges are pending against the juvenile, who was taken into custody by Tinley Park police Tuesday afternoon.

TINLEY PARK, IL — A juvenile was taken into custody Tuesday after Tinley Park police received a report of someone with a pellet gun at Staff Sgt. Michael J. Sutter Playground, according to the village's Department of Public Safety. Charges are pending against the boy, the agency said Tuesday night.
Officers were called to the park, 8125 171st St., at around 3:18 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, according to authorities. Once at the scene, police found the boy with the pellet gun, and he was apprehended without incident, the public safety department said.
