Should Video Gambling Expand in Tinley Park?

Two new businesses proposed for Tinley Park seek liquor license, video gambling approval.

The owners of two restaurant groups told Tinley Park trustees at a meeting Tuesday that video gambling is a key component of their proposed businesses, reported the Chicago Tribune.

Tom McAuliffe, owner of Durbin's Restaurant chain, wants to open Doddy's Deli & Cafe at 6800 W. 183rd St., while the Blackhawk Restaurant Group is proposing a Betty's Bistro at 15950 S. Harlem Ave. in Park Center Plaza.

Both applicants are seeking village approval for a liquor license, which is a requirement to be considered for video gaming.
