What a season! Christian Hills School hasn’t had a soccer team in nine years! However, this year, the junior high teacher, Mrs. Pavoni, took on the challenge of being the junior high soccer coach! During the first week of practice, they began the season with 5 boys who were willing to play. Within a few weeks, they had 18 boys to play on the soccer team. Heading into the Illinois Christian Conference Tournament, the Lions’ soccer team had a record of 6-1-1, and had clinched the first place title in the Junior High Illinois Christian Conference. Despite the unseasonably winter weather on October 20, 2018, our CHS Lions played a great tournament and became the Champions of the Junior High Illinois Christian Conference! Way to go Christian Hills Lions!!!
