Stuffed With Love Opens In Tinley Park

TINLEY PARK, IL — A new business has opened in Tinley Park that is full of some fun stuff.

Stuffed With Love is a hands-on, kid-friendly business where kids can adopt a stuffed animal for themselves. The new Tinley business is located at 7905 W. 159th St.

The animal stuffing fun shop originally was created in 2018 by Heather Giertuga of Frankfort. Initially working from home and traveling for parties and other events, Giertuga is a stay-at-home mom, a former teacher and sign language interpreter, who used her combined skills and degree in communication to create her business.

Giertuga said she is grateful for the support the new business has received and is looking forward to the future. She added that kids learn a bit of sign language during her classes as well.

"I include a bit of sign language in my classes with the kids. So they're learning, and they don't even realize it, and they have fun," Giertuga said.

The owner said the business has been well-received in the suburbs, and the grand opening of the first ever shop was March 13.
