T-Shirts Help Breweries In Tinley Park, Mokena Amid Coronavirus
"We're in this together and we all want to see each other weather the storm," Julia Bisch of The Open Bottle said.

TINLEY PARK, IL — T-shirts have been designed as way to support a number of breweries in the area during the coronavirus pandemic. The Open Bottle, Hailstorm Brewing, Soundgrowler Brewing, all of Tinley Park, and Crafted 1979 and Brothership Brewing of Mokena are calling it the "Support Each Other Initiative."
The shirts have a logo on the front that reads "Support Each Other - Support Local Craft Beer" and the logos of all five breweries on the back. The shirts cost $20 and are available for pre-order here until April 30.
Julia Bisch, owner of The Open Bottle at 7101 W. 183rd St., said a small craft beer community has grown in the south suburbs in recent years.

“We’re a local beer community,” Bisch said. “We’re in this together and we all want to see each other weather this storm.”
The profits from the shirt sales will be evenly divided between the five breweries.

"All of our businesses are fortunate to continue operating to some extent, but we’ve all had to make some difficult decisions recently without on-premise sales," Bisch said. "We’re hoping that the sales from these t-shirts will not only generate a small cushion to help us all continue our operations but to also bring our community together."
