Tinley Park Eighth-Grader Removed from School after Posting Threatening Video
The student at St. George posted a video threatening violence against other students.

TINLEY PARK, IL — An eighth-grade student at St. George School in Tinley Park has been removed from school after he posted a video to social media threatening violence to several of his fellow students.
A parent of one of the threatened students saw the video the night of Oct. 26 and contacted the Tinley Park Police Department. Police immediately conducted a threat assessment that involved talking to the students involved and their parents. As a result of the investigation, police contacted the principal, and the student was told that night not to return to school the next day. The student and his family complied.
The Tinley Park Police Department is continuing to investigate the matter and will provide extra patrols in the St. George School area in the coming days.
