Tinley Park Library To Host Virtual Story Of America Event

TINLEY PARK, IL — The Tinley Park Public Library will be hosting a virtual event called "The story of America," according to the Village of Tinley Park's website.

The event is aimed to tell the story of America through the lens of Labor Day history. In the event, participants will learn about people who have transformed American life and work, including the fight for the eight-hour work day, to the Civil Rights movement, according to the website.

This event will take place over zoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic and and sign-up is required. The event is being held on Tuesday Sept. 1 from 7-8 p.m.
