Tinley Park Man Shot to Death on July 4
The 40-year-old man was found lying in the street after a traffic accident in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood.

CHICAGO, IL — A 40-year-old man Tinley Park was fatally shot July 4 in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood.
Police responding to the scene of a traffic crash with injuries at 9:20 p.m. found Michael Griffin, of the 17500 block of Ridgeland Avenue, lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his abdomen, reports the Chicago SunTimes.
Griffin was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:23 p.m. His death has been ruled a homicide.
