Tinley Park Patrol Officers Wanted
The Civil Service Commission is processing applications for Patrol Officer A-2 candidates through May 7.

TINLEY PARK, IL — The Village of Tinley Park shared that the Civil Service Commission is processing applications for Patrol Officer A-2 candidates. Processing began on April 6 and will run through May 7.
According to the village, work may include routine patrol, investigation, and traffic control duties in a car or on foot, and it is performed under the direct supervision of the shift sergeant, but the employee must exercise independent judgment in the field within the guidelines of established policies.
The village says an element of personal danger is involved with the job, as employees are required to work in all weather conditions, including adverse or hazardous. Police work requires officers to be able to work shifts that provide 24-hour protection to the community, the village said. More information on eligibility can be found here.
