Two in Custody after Report of Shots Fired in Tinley Park
The incident reportedly began at an apartment complex and concluded with two suspects apprehended near the post office.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Two people are in police custody Friday morning following reports of shots fired in Tinley Park.
The incident started around 3:30 a.m. in the 15900 block of Westway Walk. Police initially called to the scene did not find the suspects, but recovered three shell casings, according to Tinley Park Police Chief Steve Neubauer. Nearly two hours later at 5:19 a.m., a second call to police reported two people reportedly involved in the shooting entering a cab in that vicinity. Officers later stopped the cab near a post office at 171st and Harlem Avenue, and took 2 people into custody.
No one was injured. The incident is under investigation.
