Vogt Center Holds Children's Coloring Contest
Winners will have their artwork on display through the end of February.

TINLEY PARK, IL — The Vogt Visual Arts Center is introducing a children's coloring contest that will run from now until Valentine's Day. The contest is open to children ages four to 13, with the winner of best picture in each age group winning a goodie bag, according to a news release from the Tinley Park - Park District. The winning pictures will also be on display at the arts center from Feb. 8 until Feb. 29 as part of the "What Do You Love" open gallery exhibit that features artwork by local and regional artists.
The contest “is a great way to get kids involved in the gallery exhibit," Park District Recreation Supervisor Erin Cortilet said.
"Whether kids just love to color or want to showcase their creative talents, we want their beautifully colored entries to hang in our gallery for all to see.”
