Western Illinois University Predicts the Next U.S. President
Will WIU's 40-year streak of accurately predicting the outcome of U.S. presidential elections come to an end in 2016?
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will be the 45th president of the United States, according to Western Illinois University’s mock presidential election.
Why is that a big deal? Because WIU has accurately predicted the election results since 1975.
Thousands of students gathered between October 20 and November 2, acting out the presidential election including the Iowa caucuses, state primaries, and Electoral College vote to figure out the winner.
