Which Cities, Counties Had the Most DUI Arrests in 2015?

The Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists came out this week with the results of its annual Illinois DUI arrest survey for 2015.

Of the nearly 700 police departments surveyed from across the state, 81 percent responded, including the Illinois State Police, Chicago Police Department and the Illinois Secretary of State Police.

But because more populated areas tend to have a higher number of DUI arrests, we used AAIM’s findings to see which municipalities and counties had the most DUI arrests per 1,000 people last year.

Here’s a complete breakdown of the survey results, including the Top 25 cities and counties with the most DUI arrests per 1,000 people, as well as those with the highest totals and most significant percent change over the year.
