Winter Sports Update: Tinley Park HS Boys Swim and Drive Team
Conference is approaching and the Titan Swim & Dive Team is looking for victory!

At the beginning of the school year, BDTV228 Sports Intern Leela Ruffin spent some time speaking with the Tinley Park High School Boys Swimming and Diving Team who are looking for another promising year.

While the Titans have had their fair share of both wins and loses this year, the team has seen success in past years at the South Suburban Blue Conference Meet. Last year, they won their eighth title in a row!

The South Suburban Blue Conference takes place Wednesday, February 5th and Thursday, February 6th at 5:00 pm. Wednesday's meet will be held at Oak Forest High School, and Thursday's meet will be held at the home of the Titans aka Tinley Park High School.
The team currently holds a collective 413.69 points. Last year, the Titans ended with a collective 482.32 points.

As seen above, the Titans are competitive both as a team and individually with multiple wins at sectionals during the 2018-2019 season. If the Titans perform well at the SSC Blue Conference Meet, we can expect to see them show up ready to go at the IHSA Boys Sectional Championship on Feb. 22 at Lincoln Way East High School.
