2 Rob Convenience Store In Vernon Hills: Police
The Vernon Hills Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened at Bucky's Convenience Store, police said.
VERNON HILLS, IL — The Vernon Hills Police Department is asking for the public's help in tracking down two armed robbers accused of holding up a convenience store early Sunday, police said. Authorities were called to Bucky's Convenience Store, 294 E. Townline Road, at 3:11 a.m. in response to the armed robbery.
A convenience store clerk told police two men wearing hoods entered the store and pulled out a pistol before demanding cash from the register, according to a news release from the Vernon Hills Police Department.
The clerk refused to hand over the money, and the suspects fled the scene, police said.
