'Classy' Barbershop Opens In Vernon Hills

VERNON HILLS, IL - From Roosters Men's Grooming Center: Roosters Men’s Grooming Center (MGC) opens today at 445 E. Townline Road in Vernon Hills, Illinois. Roosters MGC offers men of all ages the feeling of an old-fashioned barbershop along with modern hair care techniques, products and exceptional service. Rich Kurkowski, owner of Roosters MGC in Vernon Hills, describes his store as the kind of place that adds “class” to the barbershop experience.

Customers are invited to relax in oversized leather barber chairs in eight semi-private barber stations. Roosters’ custom services include precision haircuts, relaxing 7-step shave with hot steam towels, deep cleansing facial massages with moisturizing lotions, exclusive Aveda hair and skin care products for men, as well as Edwin Jagger shaving products. Kurkowski, a resident of nearby Libertyville, also welcomes the opportunity to partner with local residents and businesses.

Roosters MGC is a sponsor of the District 128 Foundation for Learning annual benefit, THE BIG EVENT, scheduled for November 10, 2017.

“We’re opening in time for guys to visit us and look their best at this major fundraiser to benefit programs for students at Libertyville and Vernon Hills High Schools,” said Kurkowski.

The public is invited to attend Roosters’ official ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. The event, held in partnership with the GLMV Chamber of Commerce, will include an official ribbon cutting, along with refreshments, prize drawings and demonstrations of Roosters’ hair care services by the store’s professional team of stylists.

Entertainment will also be provided by a string quartet from Libertyville High School.
