Club Brings Live Comedy To Mundelein

When business owners Angela and Richard decided to relocate their premier Ballroom and Latin dance social club, Dress Up & Dance! from Grayslake to larger space in Mundelein, they had plenty of ideas. Themed dance nights, private events, and live comedy!

Angie Wilson-Hill and husband Richard love to laugh almost as much as they love to dance, and with their club on Terrace Drive in Mundelein, just over the Vernon Hills border, they had the space to offer live comedy shows.

Each monthly “Dance & Laugh” comedy night showcases a lineup of professional comedians from Chicago and the suburbs, and is curated and produced by Highland Park based Funnier By The Lake Comedy.

Like all of Funnier By The Lake’s suburban shows, the goal is to deliver a “Chicago comedy club” level show without the hassle, time and expense of traveling into the city.

In addition to the great music, dancing, dance instruction and the comedy show, Angela and Richard include a buffet dinner, all for less than $30 per person, with an additional discount for couples.

All in all, not only is it the ONLY live stand-up comedy in Mundelein, it’s just about the best deal in town.
