D128 Foundation Hosts Lace Up 4 Learning 2019 Virtual Race

Support the District 128 Foundation for Learning by registering for its Lace Up 4 Learning 2019 Virtual Race through June 15.

Registration is open for the D128 Foundation for Learning Lace Up 4 Learning 2019 Virtual Walk/Run/Bike/Swim. The virtual race is a fundraiser supporting Libertyville High School and Vernon Hills High School students through the Foundation for Learning's Students in Need Program and Innovation Grants.

How does a virtual race work?
1) Choose your method: walk, run, bike, or swim
2) Choose your distance: 1 mile, 5K, 5 mile, 10K, 10 mile or Half Marathon
3) Complete your miles between May 13 and June 15
4) Register your time at the race website.

Participants receive an official race bib and medal. Participants with the fastest pace for each distance (1 mile, 5K, 5 mile, 10K, 10 mile and half marathon) will be acknowledged on the Foundation for Learning website.

Registration is $18.84 per person (which includes a processing fee) and can be completed online at bit.ly/D128L4L. A portion of each registration will benefit the Foundation.

The D128 Foundation for Learning is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. To date, the Foundation has provided $347,047 to LHS and VHHS. These funds directly benefit VHHS and LHS students in the form of innovation grants, projects, supporting students in need and more!
