D128 Storm continues to add its list of state honors

The Community High School District 128 Special Olympics Floor Hockey Team won the State Championship on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. The Storm beat Shabonna Park 3-1 in the semi-finals and went on to defeat Douglas Park 8-3 for the championship. Floor hockey team members are Alexa Donato, Anthony Berktold, Anna Scholler, Shaw Keranen, Hailey Dunbar, Nathan Ferrara, Joey Lich, Joseph Maller, Chase Miller, Rithanyaa Venkat, Chris Miller and Noah Hewitt.
