LINCOLNSHIRE, IL — The Key to 73 Hawthorn Education Foundation is planning its second annual Oktoberfest, which is slated to run from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 18 at Viper Alley, 275 Parkway in Lincolnshire. The event will include a broad range of heavy appetizers, a cash bar, silent auction, live band and live entertainment, according to a news release.

General admission tickets are $40 each. An early bird special, offering two tickets for $73, is available through Oct. 17.

“It has been exciting to see the support growing now that the foundation has been active for two years,” said Jeremy Gong, the foundation’s president. “Oktoberfest is our main fundraising event of the year. It is designed for people to have a great time as they come together to support the school district.”
