Halloween may be more than three months away, but dressing up in costume tomorrow will earn you a free meal at Chik-fil-A restaurants.

July 12 is Chik-fil-A’s “Cow Appreciation Day.” Those dressed head to toe in a cow costume will receive a free meal. Customers wearing a partial cow costume will get a free entrée for the occasion.

Vernon Hills will be home to a new Chik-fil-A restaurant in the near future. Plans are in place to demolish the Pier 1 Imports building and construct the restaurant in its place.
