A Florida man has beens sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Lake Villa resident William Pettry.
A 29-year-old Florida man who murdered a Chicago Bears fan from Lake Villa has been sentenced to life in prison, NBC 5 reported.
Matthew Hinson stabbed William Pettry, 42, in the neck in a bar in Jacksonville in 2012. Pettry was in Jacksonville for a Bears game when Hinson attacked him. An NBC 5 report on the story is attached to this post.
