Gasoline Prices Drop in Vernon Hills

Moderating crude oil prices are the reason for the dip in prices, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Gas prices are finally going down for drivers in Vernon Hills.

The average price of gasoline in the Chicago suburbs has dropped by 9 cents in the past week to $3.91 per gallon, the Chicago Tribune reports. The newspaper says moderating crude oil prices are the reason for the drop in price.

As of Monday afternoon, the following gas stations have the lowest prices in Vernon Hills, according to GasBuddy.com:

  • Mobil, 485 E Townline Road and S Butterfield Road - $3.65/gallon
  • Mobil, 202 US-45 near Evergreen Drive - $3.67/gallon
  • Mobil, 860 S Milwaukee Avenue near US-45 - $3.69/gallon
  • Shell, 909 S Milwaukee Avenue near W Apple Orchard Lane - $3.69/gallon
