Holiday Tree & Menora Lighting Ceremony In Vernon Hills: Nov. 25
The village of Vernon Hills will celebrate the start of the holiday season at the Vernon Hills Muni Golf Course.
VERNON HILLS, IL - The holiday season kickoff in Vernon Hills this year will be on Saturday, Nov. 25 when the village will hold its annual Holiday Tree and Menorah Lighting ceremony. Here's what the village wants residents and visitors to know about what's planned:
- Attendees will gather at 4:30 p.m. at the Vernon Hills Muni Golf Course club house, 291 Evergreen Drive for pre-lighting hot chocolate.
- The switch will be flipped after a countdown by the Village Queens.
- Santa himself is expected to arrive in style for a quick visit, thanks to Countryside Fire.
