Judo Athletes make Pan Am Championships Team
Cohen Brothers Judo athletes make Cadet and Jr Pan American Championships Team in Cali, Columbia
Salt Lake City, Utah - Cohen Brothers Judo Club based out of Vernon Hills, IL traveled to Utah with 10 athletes for the Youth Scholastic Nationals which was also the trials for the Cadet (Ages 14-17) and Jr. (Ages 18-20) and still prove to be one of the best clubs in the country.
Making the Cadet Pan American Team which will be held May 28-29 in Cali, Columbia, Aiden Cohen in the -81kg (178lbs) category. Aiden went 4-0 on day 1 to defeat all if his opponents by a full point to make his first Cadet Team. Aiden was a silver medalist in 2019 in age group below which is juvenile.
14 year old Harlee Hiller fought in both Cadet and Junior Trials. On Day 1 in the cadets she lost and took home a bronze medal. However, on day 2 in the older age group she avenged her losses and won the division to make the IJF Jr Pan Am Team in the older Age Group. Although, Harlee is only 14 years old, she will go and compete in the age group of 17-20.

Alex Knauf continued to show how dominate he is, just moving up from -81kg where he was a Cadet Pan American Medalist, he will now look to win the IJF Junior Age group. Alex is on a mission and will continue to make us proud and represent our club and country.
