Mundelein Park District to Debut Family Music Program
Spread positive messages to children through live guitar music, interactive song and dance.

The Mundelein Park & Recreation District introduced a new family music program designed to send positive messages through live music and instruments. This family & children’s music program is about fun, jumping, dancing and teaching. The first Indoor Musical Picnic takes place on Sat. Oct 22 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Community Center. The event is open to children ages 10 and up. Cost is $30 for up to 3 people, $7 each additional person.

Mundelein Park & Recreation District is proud to debut a family music program designed to get kids moving and laughing. The Family Music Program features experienced performers communicating positive messages through interactive and imaginative songs showcased with live music and instruments.
Dates for the remainder Indoor Musical Picnics are Oct. 22, Nov. 10, and Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Participants must register in person at Mundelein Community Center, 1401 N. Midlothian Road, at least nine days prior to each presentation. Online registration is available at www.mundeleinpark.org program #5941.
“We’re excited to bring this new musical program to the district,” says Recreation Supervisor Myra Tatarowicz, “We have a series of three one-day programs held each month for the remainder of the year and wanted to give families a chance to see what it’s about before signing up for the paid programs.”
