Vernon Hills Police said the discovery of the dogs was unrelated to the search warrant being served at the Pine Grove Court home.
VERNON HILL, IL — Officers from the Vernon Hills Police Department assisted members of the Mundelein Police Department with serving a search warrant at 9 a.m. Saturday at a home in the 1000 block of Pine Grove Court in Vernon Hills. Members of the Northern Police Alarm System (NIPAS) also helped serve the search warrant at the single-family home, Vernon Hills Police said, where they found several dogs inside the home.
