Special Guest Stops by Hawthorn School of Dual Language
Santa Claus was the special guest at a car parade for students at Hawthorn School of Dual Language in Vernon Hills
A special visitor, Santa Claus himself, stopped by the Dec. 10 holiday car parade for the Aprendiendo Jugando (Learning While Playing) students at the Hawthorn School of Dual Language. Teachers and staff waved and greeted students as they drove by in their cars. In preparation for the event, families, organizations and businesses contributed gifts and staff wrapped hundred of presents for the children.
Hawthorn School District 73 is a preschool through eighth-grade public school district serving more than 4,200 students. It serves all or portions of Vernon Hills, Mundelein, Libertyville, Indian Creek and unincorporated areas of Lake County, Illinois.
