Vernon Hills High School Choir Holiday Concert

VHHS Presents their 18th Annual Holiday Concert featuring the Symphony Orchestra and Choirs , with two performances at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m..

The Choirs and Symphony Orchestra will present holiday favorites such as Carol of the Bells, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, and Sleigh Ride. This year, the women of the Choirs will combine with a garage-punk percussion ensemble to present a modern take on the medieval Gregorian chant Gaudete, while the men of the Choirs will combine to sing Pavel Chesnokov's Spaseniye Sodelal, a masterwork of Russian choral music. Finally, each concert will conclude with the Hallelujah Chorus by Handel, and all community members and alumni are invited to sing along. There is a 100% chance of snow and holiday cheer!

Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the concerts at the door. 50% of all ticket proceeds will be donated to the Vernon Township Food Pantry.
